Default Fire Storm 09'

What the heck happened to fire season this year? Well, we will either all have a nice long rest or Aug-Nov will get rockin'! I was wondering how thin we all will be spread with the loss of manpower across many of the socal departments.

I am with you brother. unseasonably slow, but the latest starts have all been getting snuffed out hard by aircraft. Besides that, most of the starts have not been on windy days. We'll probably see a few good ones in the fall. I was glad to see that we got most of our funding that we needed, but alot of seasonals were still cut back.
