Default Chino Valley Fire Testing for FF/PM

Just an FYI we just broke ground on our station 7. Should be completed next Nov/ Dec. We will be testing for up to 16 positions. Anyone interested should check out our website at www.cvifd.org and the bottom of the website page you can review the application requirements. We are growing and getting a unreal training tower. Great test to take if interested and lots of opportunities. Yes we have gone to RED engines in case the YELLOW was keeping you away. The test should be ongoing throughout the early part of 2010. I will update you as I get more info.

I just called HR to get the info. the woman at HR said you must have CSFM FF1 academy or cert. and you must be either a Paramedic or be in field internship phase of school and pass NR before appointment. you must also have Biddle or cpat within 6 months. the process will be Application review, paramedic eval, captains oral, background, chiefs oral. the closing date is Jan 20, 2010. however she said that there will most likely be another recruitment starting soon after this closing date.
