Default Fire-Prevention Outlet

Considering that about 67,000 fires, 485 deaths and $868 million in property losses each year, are caused by home electrical wiring issues, I'd say investing in a fire-prevention outlet is not only worth it but necessary.

There has been talk of a new product, that is a better and safer outlet, that uses TFCI technology which is able to detect excessive heat. Once the outlet detects the excessive heat, an electro-mechanical cutoff occurs and shuts the outlet.

Pretty interesting product, it's made by BSafe Electrix.. not sure if anyone has heard of this yet, but I think I will investing.
